We started Pack My Home because moving shouldn’t be a gamble. Too many people get burned by movers who turn up late, quote one price and charge another, or treat your belongings carelessly. We do the opposite: we turn up on time, we tell you the real price up front, and we move your things like they’re our own.

A local team, not a franchise

We’re based at Wattle Downs in South Auckland, and we run our trucks out of our yard in Wiri. That matters more than it sounds. When you call us, you’re talking to the people who will actually be moving you — not a call centre booking a job out to whoever happens to be free that day.

It also means the crew that wraps your dining table is the crew that carries it, loads it and puts it back together at the other end. Nothing gets handed off halfway, and nobody shrugs and says it must have been damaged by someone else.

How a move with us works

There’s no mystery to it, and there shouldn’t be:

• You tell us what you’re moving — rough room count, where from, where to, and any tricky access.
• We quote you honestly — the truck size, the hourly rate, the call-out fee and the minimum hours. All of it, before you commit. It’s all published on our rates page too.
• We turn up when we said — with blankets, straps, dollies and a tail-lift truck.
• We move you — wrapped properly, loaded properly, and reassembled at the other end.

Everything you might need, in one place

Most moves need more than a truck, so we do the rest of it too. We can pack and unpack your whole house, hire you reusable Better Boxes that we deliver and collect for free, store your things when settlement dates don’t line up, and take you anywhere in New Zealand if you’re leaving Auckland altogether.

We also handle the jobs that need a bit more care — pianos, seniors downsizing or moving into a retirement village, and office relocations that need to happen after hours so a business doesn’t lose a day.
