What the Signature service covers
Everything below is part of the job — agreed in your quote before we start, so nothing appears at the end as an extra.
We pack your whole home
Room by room, from the kitchen cupboards to the wardrobes and the garage. Fragile items are wrapped individually and boxes are labelled by room.
All materials supplied
Boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape and covers all come with us. There’s nothing for you to buy, collect or hunt down beforehand.
The move itself
Tail-lift trucks, quilted blankets, straps and trolleys. Furniture is taken apart and put back together at the other end.
Unpacked into your new home
Beds made up, kitchen unpacked, furniture where you want it. You tell us how far to go — some people want everything away, others just the essentials.
The old house cleaned
Once the truck is loaded we clean the place you’ve left — floors, bathrooms, kitchen and inside the cupboards, ready for the final inspection or the new owners.
Packaging taken away
We collect the flattened boxes and used wrapping after you’ve unpacked, so you’re not left with a garage full of cardboard.
How a Signature move works

We come and look
We walk through your home with you, work out exactly what’s involved and put it all in writing before anything is booked.
We pack
Usually the day before the move, so moving day itself is just loading. Everything is labelled so it lands in the right room.
We move and unpack
Loaded, driven and carried in. Then we unpack and place things where you want them rather than leaving you a wall of boxes.
We clean the old place
The house you’ve left gets cleaned so it’s ready for inspection, settlement or the next tenant. Nothing to come back for.
Who books the Signature service
It’s the option people choose when they simply don’t have the time or the capacity to pack a house themselves. Most commonly:
- Families moving mid-week who can’t take days off to pack around work and school runs.
- People selling or ending a tenancy who need the old place left clean for inspection or settlement.
- Older Aucklanders downsizing who’d rather not be lifting, wrapping and scrubbing. See also our senior moving service.

- Landlords and property managers turning a house around between tenants.
If you only need part of it — the packing but not the clean, or the move on its own — that’s completely fine. Our packers and movers service covers packing and moving, and standard house moving covers the shift by itself.
Full service movers in Auckland
A full service move means the moving company handles the entire job rather than just the truck. You’re not buying boxes, taping cartons at midnight or coming back on the weekend to clean an empty house. We arrive with the materials, do the packing, do the move, unpack the other end and leave the old property clean.
We’re a South-Auckland-based team and we run Signature moves right across the city — the North Shore, West Auckland, the Eastern Bays, the Hibiscus Coast, the CBD and South Auckland. We also do the same thing on intercity moves out of Auckland.
Because every home is a different size and every job has a different amount in it, Signature moves are quoted individually rather than at a set rate. We’ll come and see the property, and you’ll get the full scope and price in writing before you commit to anything.
Signature service questions
What does the Signature service actually include?
Packing your whole home, all the packing materials, the move itself, unpacking at the new address, cleaning the property you’ve left, and collecting the empty boxes afterwards. The exact scope is written into your quote so you can see precisely what’s covered.
Is the clean of the old house included?
Yes — cleaning the property you’re leaving is part of the Signature service. We confirm the standard of clean required in the quote, since an end-of-tenancy inspection and a normal move-out tidy aren’t always the same job.
Do I need to buy boxes or packing materials?
No. Boxes, paper, bubble wrap, tape and covers are all supplied and brought with us on the day. There’s nothing for you to organise beforehand.
How long does it take?
Most homes are packed the day before and moved the following day, with unpacking and the clean completed the same day as the move. Larger houses can run over a longer window — we’ll give you the timeline when we quote.
Do you unpack absolutely everything?
That’s up to you. Some people want every cupboard filled and the beds made; others want the kitchen and bedrooms done and would rather sort the rest themselves. Tell us which and we’ll scope it that way.
How much does a Signature move cost?
It’s quoted per home rather than at a fixed rate, because the packing, unpacking and cleaning all depend on the size of the property and how much is in it. Request a quote and we’ll come and see it, then put the full price in writing. For standard hourly moving rates, see our rates page.
